I had never had a professional mover before, so I didn’t know what to expect and had several questions. Dawn took the time to answer all of my questions and with her help she was willing and able to reschedule my move for later in the week after I was concerned about the bad weather that was expected on the moving date. Dawn, the local contact for Hampton Roads area, was nice to work with. The movers, Bill Adams and Frankie, were great. They worked extremely well together and were very professional. Shortly before the move, I bought a table and chair set and, as he was taking inventory of my belongings and packing, Bill brought a defect in the furniture to my attention (the legs of one of the chairs was fractured at the bottom). Thanks to him, I was able to make arrangements with the company I bought the set from to have the chair fixed at no charge. They made me feel comfortable and I knew that my furniture would be safe in their hands. I would highly recommend Arpin and Hampton Roads Moving to anyone and recommend that they remain one of our preferred moving companies.

I recently moved some of my furniture to South Carolina with Arpin and want to commend the 2 movers who handled the move. Both Jacob Weimer and Cliff Thomson (Hampton Roads Moving & Storage) did an excellent job. After a mechanical problem, the truck arrived at my residence in South Carolina at 7:30pm-well beyond normal business hours. Yet, the 2 men efficiently and carefully moved the furniture and set up the beds so that we had a place to sleep.

Since the weight of my furniture was below the estimate, the amount I had to pay was also reduced. A pleasant surprise as it gave me more money to purchase the needed extras that go along with a move.

I thank you for making this move so much less stressful than anticipated. I would definitely recommend Arpin to any of my friends or clients who plan on relocating.

I do want to make sure that the 2 movers get the recognition they deserve.

I have moved 10 times in the last 20 years, and I have to say of all the moves that I have had done professionally, none compares to this one.

Of all the china and crystal and family antiques we have, only one had any damage to it. All of the china/crystal arrived 100% intact. When I was moved to Seattle, most of my antiques were damaged. What a difference.

The team is really hard working, high quality and has just done a fabulous job. I highly recommend Hampton Roads.

It is rare one has the opportunity to observe a job well done. And especially over such a length of time. I would like to bring to your attention the professionalism that made my move a very effortless endeavor the last couple of days in October 2007! Yes! October. 

Thinking about the 13 or so moves I have made over the years, I can single this one out as one of the more professional.

From the 1st contact with Julie Neisemier and Dan as I was gathering estimates from various moving companies, I know that Hampton Roads Moving & Storage was the one to choose. 

My packers on the 1st day were excellent as were the following days. I hope I have their names correct because they deserve commendation for a job well done! 

Steve, Will Mason, Shawn & Hillary were so helpful. On day one there was another lady who was incredible in packing. I did not get her name but I believe she was with your company for a number of years. She was somewhat shy and so busy packing! 

Your company also sent a supervisor to pack a marble piece from a cabinet. He was extremely professional, explaining every step- just in case I had any anxieties. But being honest- I did not have any. I entrusted my hard earned belongings into their hands. 

On your level, I am not sure how much feed back you get, but even after a period of 6 months , I felt compelled to write & let you know! I am thinking that your leadership must demand professionalism otherwise it usually doesn’t happen. 

I would especially bring to your attention- Will Mason. What a kind and hard-working individual. Actually they all were, but he especially so. 

I hope you are proud of your employees. As it is by my word of mouth that truth is known.
